WiN Industry Charter pledge underlines DSA’s commitment to gender balance

In a first-of-its-kind collaboration, the Design Services Alliance (DSA) partners (AXIOM, Progressive, Sellafield Ltd), Women In Nuclear UK and North West (WIN UK & NW) have come together to sign a pledge to publicly acknowledge the need for equality and inclusion in the workplace.

All the organisations involved have individually signed the WIN UK Pledge informing the WIN UK Industry Charter. However, they wanted to take it further to demonstrate their commitment to gender balance with a further statement of support.

The ten-point pledge underpins the DSA’s existing work and details initiatives such as reviewing barriers, providing clear career pathways, transparency and recognising imbalance.

“This exciting ongoing collaboration is a huge step in gender equality and inclusivity and will provide the tools and techniques necessary to educate and achieve real outcomes,” said Nigel Dailey, Head of the DSA.
